"CATTLE DAY" 2.0

Cooking competition entry requirements:

Competition date: September 30, 2023 (Saturday) between 10 am and 3 pm.

Event location: Vadvirág Restaurant and Event Venue Zalaudvarnok, area designated for cooking.

Entry fee: 10,000 HUF per team. The amount includes approximately 4 kg of beef for cooking, which is provided by the organizer!

Registration deadline: September 28, 2023 (Thursday) There is no possibility to register on site on the day of the event!

The allocation of cooking places depends on the number of applicants!

Teams can compete in two categories:

- Soup-like dishes

- Roasted dishes

The dishes must be prepared on site. A team can enter in both categories.

Participants must provide cooking utensils, ingredients, and serving dishes.

The team decides whether the audience can taste it!

It will be possible to set up cooking tents the day before the competition. The competition venue will be guarded! If necessary, benches and tables will be provided by the organizers, please notify us in advance if you need them!

Water is available. We cannot provide separate electricity for the teams.

The jury will give the competitors a detailed briefing on the judging process at 9:30 a.m. It is very important that 1 person from each team appears at the judging tent at this time!

The official opening of the cooking competition will take place at 10:00 AM.

The dishes served will be evaluated by professional and social jury members, there will also be a mobile jury, which means that jury members will be active among the competitors throughout the competition. This also aims to make the relationship between the jury and the competitors more direct. The judging of the dishes will start at 15:00 and is expected to end at 16:00. The official announcement of the results will take place on the event stage.

The judging criteria are as follows: the environment and cleanliness of the food preparation, the aesthetic appearance of the serving, and the taste of the food.

The jury's decision is final!

AWARDS:

-The top three finishers in each food category will receive prizes.

-A special prize will be awarded to the team that prepares the most unique (most original) dish.

-Each team participating in the competition will receive a souvenir gift.

On the day of the competition, teams are allowed to drive their vehicles into the designated cooking area, which must be parked in the parking lot reserved for competitors by 10:00 AM.

The event serves the relaxation and entertainment of visitors and is free from party politics, therefore the display of the names and symbols of parties and political organizations is prohibited!

We will hold the event even in case of rain!
